am back n cant express how freeze cold it is up here....-

uh man- yesterday i asked maself seriously wa i am livin in such a cold country...-brrr-

so i had to change ma malapa (slippers) into shoes... first time i am wearin "closed" shoes :)

still every thing is like in a dream... i am not yet here....- n a think i will still need some time ....-

everyone welcomed me very nicely...-

hej hej dear friends-

probably this will be ma last post before i'm coming back to cold cold germany....

i will freeze in germany....

some time went by...
i had the chance last week to go to malambo- northern maasai land- behind the ngorongoro crater near oldonyo lengai...- visiting friends- but also visiting the new school there-
it is a primary school including a special class...- was interesting- although the kids were busy doin their exams....-

so i am doin well down here:) yesterday i had already ma farewell party, cause ma last 2 weeks are running...

at the moment i am busy writing reports of the students, observations, improvements in their lifes in school...

every evening i am now invited to visit different families- that is fun- cause most of them are indians- so GOOD food will be provided :)

yeah- school closes @ the 7th of december- i will go to tanga for one week-
and ma flight is going at the 16th ...

so ma dear frinds... soon i will be back-
that's somehow really strange.. cause the time ran by really fast....
i enjoy stayin here!

and i will let u know another time what ma conclusions are about special education in tanzania...

paradise zanzibar

hejhej ma dearest friends_

the road brought me for some days to one of the most beautiful places god greated on this earth...: zanzibar-
I got some days off from school n went with 2 swedish girls 2 zanz....
by bus 10 hours to d'salaam n by boat to stone town- some hours more to reach the north of zanzibar...
white beach- turkuise water.... not many places with shadow..... burnt red people....yeah...!
and expensive...:(
but @ the moment there is low season- not sooo many tourists..
many beachboys and fake maasai tryin 2 fetch girlfriends @ the beach :))

ok- but I enjoy this place very much! 2 let ma soul rest n have time to read n to sleep- eating fish everyday :)))
tomorrow I'll go back 2 stone twon n wednesday back to ma home... : arusha

ma trip last week 2 kili nationalpark for a hike.... isn't it beautiful? morning view 2 kibo

Dear friends-
Some time has passed…
- the sun is still shining n it’s getting hot here-
the small rainseason is late... It didn’t rain a long time- everythin is dusty and every day ma feet are black- dirty... =)

During the last weeks I saw some other projects, spoke with people about children with mentally disabilities...
It feels like my researches just began now...
Cause here the pace of life is slower...
n it takes a lot of time to find out the right places/people to go/meet to get informations,
it also takes time to make appointments and then if you maybe got one - then the people are not there or they went somewhere else...

You just get informations through knowing the ‘right’ people-
to have and to get connections is the most important thing if you want to find out things...

Sometimes it’s hard to have patience with the circumstances n situations and also with myself...
Many times I was frustrated- or maybe disappointed_ cause for a research which I try to do you usually need much more time_
You’ve never met enough people_ you always could have done more...-

But I really have to remember myself everyday: It was Gods will that I came here_ so He is in control_
He is faithful- also when I am not- He IS! I need to stick onto his word n believe in the promises He gave me...

And besides my research I still teach everyday in the school “step-by-step learning Centre”...doing assessments and observations, writing reports for the end of the term (7th of Decemba).

Yeah- so far- ma head is full with many things..
But I am grateful for every little step God leades me....
To you my dearest friends- thx so much for ur prayas!!! I really appreciate it! I think just because of your prayas I am protected and blessed!

And also when many things here work in a different way_
I love it beeing here! If God will I’ll travel next week a bit ;) Thursday- Tuesday

@ the moment everything is alright-
a few problems with ma stomach but I suppose that is normal ;) today i feel much better- and 2 days out of school were also good-

i am surching gods face these days! cause i need to know the next step...
i hope i can visit some other places, where people started projects for children with special needs!

es lebt sich gut hier...:)
morgens regnet es und es ist kalt... nachmittags scheint die sonne und man fluechtet in den schatten:)
in der schule laeufts gut_ ich hoffe ich kann naechste woche ein paar familien besuchen...

der titel dieses eintrags bezieht sich auch auf meinen alltaeglichen lunch: reis mit bohnen... manchmal fleisch_ jeden tag :) aber man gewoehnt sich dran:)

sonst versuche ich hier so viele freunde wie moeglich zu besuchen_
vielleicht werde ich bald 2 wochen in malambo sein_ hinter dem ngorongoro crater...- maasailand-
dort gibt es auch eine special class- kein strom usw_ aber freu mich da drauf- schoen mal hier aus der stadt raus zu kommen :)
sonst ich fuehl mich hier sehr zuhause.. is gar nich so als ob ich weit weg waere :)

habari kutoka tanzania...
neuigkeiten aus tanzania- endlich hat sich die seite aufgebaut... nach ner guten halben stunden....grrr_
wie ihr seht_ mir gehts gut_
meine tour war lg und erlebnisreich :)
hab in dubai mal ne local bus -tour durch dubai gemacht und bin , weil es so sau heiss war in die tuerkisen lauwarmen fluten gesprungen:)))
hier is alles gut....
schon krass wie man sich ueberall auf der welt zuhause fuehlen kann.
es war ein grosses wiedersehen mit alten freunden.... :) mit vielen hab ich noch nich lang gesprochen- aber es is cool hier zu sein.
heute morgen hab ich auch schon meinen neuen "arbeitsplatz" ausgecheckt...
bin morgens also auch ab 6 uhr auf den beinen damit ich um 8 in der schule bin....
is ziemlich weit ausserhalb, so dass es einige zeit dauert bis ich dort bin...
ich wohne vorerst dort wo ich frueher mal gearbeitet haben und helf noch ein wenig aus... trotzdem waere es super noch was anderes zum wohnen zu finden...
schoen warm isses hier und ich sende euch gruesse und alles:))))

schlaf- / wachkoma

liebe freunde,

leider hat sich das abflugdatum von heute, den 18.09. um 07.25h auf sonntag, den 23.09. um 22.20h verschoben. grund dafür ist ein akutes schlaf-/wachkoma, das mich befallen hat und aus dem ich gerade wieder aufwache...
konkret heisst das, dass ich seit 3 tagen krank bin und im bett liegen muss und leider nicht fliegen konnte. gott sei dank, ist jo hier, der mich zum arzt geschliffen hat und auch das ticket umbuchen konnte. jetzt fliege ich sogar mit emirates über dubai und das ganze kostet mich nur 16euro mehr.
das nenn ich gottes gnade!!!
wenn ihr betet, könnt ihr ja mal mit dran denken, dass ich sonntag wieder vollkommen fit bin und nicht unter der last meines rucksacks zusammenbreche...

jetzt hats die elli doch mal geschafft und sich einen blog angelegt....-

eine woche bevor ich abdüse sind einige sachen schon erledigt_
ein gefühl von: noch nicht wirklich Realität, dass ich nun 3 monate außer landes sein werde......-
aber doch eine gewisse vorfreude und spannung...-

noch keinen platz an dem ich wohnen werde...-
aber das wird mein daddy schon noch machen :)
